I Love Bead

Privacy policy

Photo to Pattern works on your device. Cloud projects, accounts and anything you choose to share are handled separately.

Last updated

I Love Bead is in development. Public Pro sales are not open. Subscription details describe the planned web release; this website does not accept payments.

Who is responsible

I Love Bead is operated by Seçkin Alp Kargı, trading as Folding Papers. This policy covers the I Love Bead web app, its product pages and support. We decide how personal information is used to run these services. For privacy questions or requests, contact hello@foldingpapers.com.

Features described here apply when they are available and you use them. A description of an account, cloud or payment feature does not mean public access or sales have opened.

Photos and designs on your device

Photo to Pattern converts a selected photo using color-matching tools in your browser. Conversion does not upload your photo to a server or send it to an AI provider. Previewing a result does not change the current design, undo history or saved cloud project; applying it is a separate action.

Guest drafts, recovery copies, Studio preferences and Stitch projects use local browser storage. Downloads such as JSON and PNG are created on your device. Clearing site data, private-browsing limits or a lost device can remove local work, so keep your own JSON backups.

Local conversion is not a promise that all use of the app is offline. Cloud saving and explicit file uploads can send project documents, previews or assets to our connected storage. Publishing content or sending an attachment to support also shares the copy you choose. Stitch does not include cloud project sync.

Accounts and cloud projects

When you register or sign in, Supabase processes your email address, account identifier, authentication credentials and security events. Profile data can include a display name, selected avatar, creator biography and URL, language, region, time zone and preferences. Sign-in providers receive information needed for the sign-in method you select; authentication emails use the configured email-delivery service.

Cloud features store project titles, design documents, revisions, materials, measurements and any assets you upload. Workspace records include membership, roles and invitations where those features are available. Personal projects are not public by default; authorised workspace members can access shared work according to their role.

Folding Papers uses shared sign-in infrastructure. I Love Bead membership and subscription access are separate from I Love Art. Having an account or plan in one product does not automatically grant access to another product or another person’s projects.

Community and public content

When you choose to publish a creator profile or contribute to Gallery or Forum, your chosen display name, avatar, biography, content and associated activity can be visible to other people, including visitors who are not signed in. Public material may be copied or indexed outside the app. Your account email is not a public profile field unless you put it in content yourself.

We also process reactions, follows, saved items, reports, block or mute choices and moderation records when you use those features. Reports and internal moderation notes are not a public feed. Authorised staff can review relevant content to investigate reports and appeals.

Payments and subscription records

When web Pro sales become available, Lemon Squeezy will provide checkout and act as merchant of record for purchases it processes. Its payment providers handle payment-card and billing information under their own notices. The I Love Bead app does not receive your full payment-card number.

We associate your account with provider customer, order and subscription identifiers, the selected plan and billing interval, payment status, renewal and access dates, and refund records to activate access, prevent duplicate purchases and handle support. A checkout request can include your account identifier and email address.

Usage records, cookies and connections

The signed-in Pro flow records limited first-party events for photo previews, upgrade openings, checkout starts and paid export actions. These records contain an account identifier, day, event name and an allowed format or billing interval; repeated events are counted once per account, day and category. They do not contain photos, project contents, names, email addresses or exported files. This flow does not record guest activity and uses no external tracking SDK.

Authentication cookies maintain signed-in sessions. Browser storage remembers drafts and interface preferences. If an authentication screen uses Cloudflare Turnstile, it processes technical signals to help prevent abuse. Blocking required storage can prevent sign-in or local recovery.

Requests to app servers and hosting providers disclose connection information such as IP address, browser information, request time and response status. These records support delivery, security and fault diagnosis. Cloudflare delivers this Folding Papers website. We do not use the Bead web release for cross-site advertising tracking or sell personal information.

Purposes, providers and transfers

Account, cloud and subscription information is used to provide the features you request and perform our agreement with you. Security, moderation, support and limited product-usage records help us protect people, resolve faults and understand whether features work. Where applicable, we rely on legitimate interests for those purposes, legal obligations for required records, and consent where required. Acknowledging this notice is not blanket consent.

Recipients include Supabase for authentication, database and storage services; payment providers for purchases; hosting, security and email-delivery providers for operation; and the audience you choose when sharing content. Information may also be disclosed where necessary to meet legal obligations or protect rights and safety.

Providers may process information outside your country. Contact hello@foldingpapers.com for the locations and transfer safeguards relevant to your account. We do not claim that all data stays in one country. The web release does not offer AI generation or send conversion photos to an AI provider. Existing historical usage records are separate from currently available features.

Retention, export and account deletion

Local information remains until you remove it or the browser clears it. Cloud projects and account records are retained while needed to provide the account and requested features. Ending Pro does not delete your projects. Usage and diagnostic records are kept according to their continuing operational purpose; support, billing, security and moderation records may be retained to resolve an issue, meet applicable obligations, prevent abuse or handle a dispute.

Account settings include a portable JSON account export. It lists private binary assets rather than embedding the image files, so save separate copies of files you need. A Studio JSON backup is an editable design backup, not a complete account export.

Delete Bead account requires recent sign-in and transfer of any team workspace ownership. It removes Bead profile data, personal cloud projects, the personal workspace and published contributions without deleting the shared sign-in identity or I Love Art data. Shared team work remains with its workspace. Back up your work before confirming. Contact support to request deletion of the shared identity and all connected products.

Private file cleanup is scheduled during deletion. Limited deletion records, billing, consent or safety records and restricted backups may remain while needed for their purpose; deletion is not a promise that every provider backup is erased immediately. Cancel future subscription renewal before deleting Bead data. Deletion is blocked while a checkout is open, renewal is still enabled or billing cannot be verified. It does not issue a refund or erase local browser downloads and drafts.

Your choices and rights

Depending on the law that applies, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction or objection, and withdraw consent where processing depends on it. Contact hello@foldingpapers.com; we may need proportionate information to verify ownership. You can also complain to the competent data-protection authority.

Accounts are not intended for children under 13. A higher age or parental permission may be required by local law. Contact us if you believe a child has provided personal information contrary to these rules.

We update this notice as practices change and show the revision date above. We will communicate material changes as required. Do not send passwords, verification codes, government identifiers or full payment-card details in a support request.
